Mal Bell witnessed the very birth of Expert Estimation…
In late 1980s, Mal worked with Glen Townsley and did his best to break the new software in his spare time. Even after Glen moved on, Mal used the software to cross-check estimates done on other programs, providing feedback to Glen in order to fix bugs and improve the program.
Mal found it a straightforward transition to Expert Estimation, and declares that the support has always been excellent. “We bid for a dam back in 2001, and some of the calculations were taking all night. We called Glen and he returned after the weekend with a new version of Expert Estimation that did the calculations in ten minutes!”
Retired now, Mal is one of the reasons Expert Estimation has been so successful. Pronamics is grateful for over thirty years of his support.
