EDITING SPREADSHEETS EASILY WITHIN EXPERT ESTMATION
Make quick changes for your Spreadsheets
Linking spreadsheets to your Expert Estimation project is an extremely useful function when using Global Defines, Local Defines, and Managed Defines.
You can now edit linked Excel spreadsheets inside the application – making your estimating easier, faster and more efficient.
The spreadsheet editing feature works on single user and multi-user projects.
In the HOME ribbon menu, select SPREADSHEETS, then ADD or REPLACE SPREADSHEET.
In this example there are no named cells. No problem.
Editing the spreadsheet is as simple as selecting the spreadsheet in the window, then clicking on EDIT SPREADSHEET.
This shows you an editable version of the Excel spreadsheet inside the application.
You can edit cell values for numbers and text. Let’s name these cells so that we can link them to our defines.
Your changes will be saved when you press the SAVE button, here.
Then, when you go back to the spreadsheets window, you will see the named spreadsheet cells you just created without leaving the application.
The Edit Spreadsheets function has a wide range of useful features inside Expert Estimation to make using Excel spreadsheets easier, faster, and more efficient.
And that’s an introduction to Editing Spreadsheets inside Expert Estimation.

LIGHTS… CAMERA… ACTION!

A lot of work goes into generating Tips & Tricks videos, but they are still part of our “More Done, More Fun” culture here at Pronamics.
It’s not just recording the odd video in a funny voice, or editing screen shots with old fashioned star wipes. Creating Tips & Tricks videos requires our training and marketing team to learn the features of Expert Estimation, which in terms strengthens our ability to support our clients.
