You already know that Pronamics releases major and minor updates to Expert Estimation Genesis several times throughout the year. Being a part of the Support and Maintenance Program lets you access all the latest features and improvements, many of which are requested by you!
But every few years we update the Product Selector too. So in case you’re a relatively new client, or want to understand more about how we deliver Expert Estimation to you, we want you to know:

The Product Selector
The Pronamics Product Selector is an application used to manage the installation and updating of Pronamics software such as Expert Estimation.
For software installation and updates to be successful, the user running the Pronamics Product Selector must be a member of the Local Administrators group on the computer where the software is being installed.
Why is it Important?
When performing updates, the Product Selector manages the update process, automatically checking for updates to Expert Estimation, and determining the most recent version a user is entitled to use.
It also creates safeguards to prevent any data loss during the update process—this gives peace of mind should a user choose to roll back for any reason.
What does the new Product Selector do?
Digital infrastructure needs updating every so often, just as physical infrastructure does. We must ensure our software is compatible with supporting networks, such as Microsoft Windows, and we always endeavour to improve the accessibility and useability of the application.
The new Product Selector will be required to see and access the upcoming major update of Expert Estimation. There are new exciting features and a multitude of enhancements, so make sure you don’t miss out!
Not only does it check for updates, it also allows for offline installations and has an improved user interface and workflow.
