CODE SETS
Genesis Edition Only
For every project, there is a facility for recasting and reporting on the costs and sell values included in your project. Code Sets can be added to a project to break down the costs and sell values into a set structure.
Typical uses for the Code Sets feature may include a collection of budget codes that closely match an accounts package or a work break down structure.
Within the Code Sets module, you can:
- Allocate Resources, Cost Estimates, Direct Costs and Overhead Costs items to a list of Codes to report on the costs included in a project.
- Define a Code Structure to calculate a budget for your project.
- Organise the costs of your project to then be used as the basis of a Cash Flow Scenario.
- Report on the breakdown of costs across your project based on the Code Allocations.
The contextual ribbon menu at the top of the window displays all the available functions within the Code Sets window.
The main grid area displays a list of all Code Sets when you first open the Code Set window.
When a Code Set is created, you will also gain access to the Code Set reports as well as the Code Intersection Analysis window.
A Code Set cannot be removed if it is being used as a part of a Cash Flow Scenario.
